To solve the problem, Mecanova offers equipment for emptying and reducing guts that cleans all the abdominal contents with blades that cut and chop all the intestinal contents, releasing the manure, and cleaning the meat at high temperatures. This way, the meat material is sterilized to give it a useful use as protein or fat suitable for human consumption MER 3. This way the payment that was to be done for waste removal turns into an income because of the cleaned material. This translates in a shorter period of amortization and an interesting profitability.

Functionality

Cylindrical machine for cleaning-blanching and peeling legs. Simplifies and rationalizes the work, essential in all the triads.

The next step in the slaughter line as far as the by-products are concerned, is the cutting of legs. The cutting of this leg takes place in the transfer of legs in the case of the hind leg, or in the next work station located at ground level, by means of the cutting shear of legs and horns, which is a hydraulic machine.

These legs are collected in cutter trucks or if we work in two-storey slaughterhouses they go through some pipes to the leg cleaning area.

Upon reaching the cleaning room, these legs are treated with hot water and an epilating machine, to remove their hair, without needing any previous treatment. This machine can be from the simplest and most manual model, to the most complicated and automated. The treatment of the legs requires hot water at 65 degrees to perform a good scaling, and a proportional part of bovine nails to perform a good hair removal. The cleaning process can last 20 minutes, depending on the operator that performs the work and the skill that you have to achieve a correct blanching.

FUNCTIONALITY

Centrifuge machine for the cleaning of tripes of beef and sheep. Simplifies and rationalizes the work, indispensable in all the tripe and offal processing works.

In the first place, the stomach is separated, then it is opened on the emptying table to extract the stomach residue. This residue falls through a lattice to a barrel tire which will expel the residue to the waste container enabled.

Afterwards, the empty stomach turns and it is introduced in the cleaning and whitening stomach machine, which will work with hot water at 65ºC (149ºF) for the 15 minutes that takes the process. In this machine, some kind of black fabric (depending on the skin of the animal it can have different shapes) has been removed, which covered the inside part of the stomach.

A following process could be done by a degreasing and whitening machine of the intestine. For that, at the exit of this machine, the worker collects the stomachs and turns them around to proceed to the next treatment that is done in this subproduct. The next machine does the degreasing of the external face of the stomach, with hot water at 65ºC (149ºF) and for 5 minutes aproximately. The longer the stomach stays in the machine, the lighter it will get, wich is not really advisable because the economic benefits would be lower.
