Functionality
Mecanova's continuous dehairing machines for pigs are machines that are the result of decades of experience in large pig lines throughout Europe.
Our continuous dehairing machines are equipped with two scraper shafts with helical blade position, which achieve the highest quality of hair removal in pigs of all weights. Hair collection belts can be attached to the machine at the bottom. The water distribution system at the top of the waxing line achieves channels with a higher level of cleanliness.
The productions of these continuous machines vary depending on the length (No. of ribs), being able to place 2 machines continuously to achieve higher production and quality of hair removal.

Functionality of the pig dehairing machine
Mecanova's pig dehairing machine MEC type are the perfect equipment for productions of up to 85 pigs o 170 pigs per hour, with epilation cycles of between 40 - 50 seconds with one or two animals, achieving a magnificent finish.
This traditional machine is very robust, and in its superior model it can depilate large animals such as mothers. Made of hot galvanized steel, it has a scraper shaft that achieves a magnificent finish without breaking parts. The flexible coupling between the scraper shaft and the gearmotor prevents the reducer from suffering the blows of hair removal, which implies less maintenance of the machine, and greater operational reliability, in addition to extending the useful life of the machine.
